Our Doctrinal Beliefs
Before our vision, mission, or church culture, the Holy Scriptures stand as the foundation of our faith and the final authority for doctrine and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:14–16; Psalm 119:105).
THE BIBLE / SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is God-breathed, living, powerful, and accomplishes God’s purposes (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; Isaiah 55:10–11).
THE GODHEAD
We believe there is one God eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in nature and glory (Genesis 1:1–2, 26; Matthew 28:19).
- God the Father
God the Father is Creator and sovereign Lord, holy and loving, who sent His Son for the salvation of the world (Genesis 1:1; John 3:16–17).
- God the Son – Jesus the Messiah
Jesus is the Messiah for Jews and Gentiles, born of a virgin, crucified, buried, and resurrected on the third day according to the Scriptures (Matthew 1:18; Isaiah 53; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4).
- God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is fully God, indwells believers, empowers holy living, and distributes spiritual gifts (Genesis 1:2; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Acts 1:8).
SALVATION
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus the Messiah and His finished work on the cross (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–11).
FALLEN HUMANITY
All humanity has sinned and is in need of redemption through Christ (Genesis 3; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8).
ETERNAL LIFE
Eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord (John 3:16; Romans 6:23).
FINAL JUDGMENT
There will be a final judgment where every person gives account before God (2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:15).
WATER BAPTISM
Water baptism is commanded by Jesus as a public declaration of faith (Mark 16:15–16; Romans 6:3–7).
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers believers for witness and holy living (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4).
THE CHURCH
The Church consists of Jewish and Gentile believers, empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Gospel worldwide (Ephesians 2:14–22; Matthew 28:19–20).
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
The fruit of the Spirit reflects Christlike character in believers (Galatians 5:22–25).
GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
Spiritual gifts are given for the edification of the Church (1 Corinthians 12–14).
THE LORD’S SUPPER
The Lord’s Supper is observed in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice (Luke 22:14–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
THE GREAT COMMISSION
The Church is commanded to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16–20).
MARRIAGE
Marriage is ordained by God between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24).
SEXUAL MORALITY
Believers are called to sexual purity and holiness (Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 6:18–20).
